VOCABULARY Vocab Booklet: Sadlier-Oxford Level D (*other units may be supplemented to accompany a novel read in class)
Unit Break Downs: Each Sadlier-Oxford book unit is broken down into two units (an "A" and "B" unit) with 10 words a piece.
General Schedule: Bi-weekly - Each unit takes two weeks to complete. On the first Friday, the vocabulary homework is due. Homework is worth 10-15 pts and it will be reviewed in class. Then, the following Friday students will be tested on the current unit. Each test is worth 35-40pts.
Test Format:
Matching for synonyms and antonyms;
Complete the sentence;
Writing answers to questions asked using the vocabulary words.
